Our Story:
Freshwater was where it started. Live the Fresh Life is where it’s going.
For us, some of the best memories have always happened around water.
We’re Nathan and Marie, and with our four kids we’ve spent years around Midwest lakes, rivers, docks, boats, and beaches. Freshwater began as a way to celebrate those places through apparel and accessories tied to the lakes and rivers people feel connected to.
Over time, though, the idea became bigger than the products.
We found ourselves chasing that same feeling farther from home: sailing, exploring new coastlines, visiting islands, finding great places on the water, and planning the next trip before the last one was over.
That became Live the Fresh Life.
What Live the Fresh Life Means
Live the Fresh Life is about getting out there.
Sometimes that means a weekend at a lake in Wisconsin. Sometimes it means sailing a catamaran through the British Virgin Islands. It might be a river town, an island, a marina, a beach, or somewhere we haven’t discovered yet.
We’re sharing the trips, places, routes, and experiences we think are worth remembering, along with what we learn along the way.
Freshwater
Freshwater is our original apparel and accessories brand.
It grew from our connection to inland lakes and rivers and remains an important part of Live the Fresh Life. Our designs celebrate specific waterways, communities, and the experiences people associate with them.
We also create custom apparel for sailing schools, clubs, lake communities, events, and other organizations connected to life on the water.
Made With More Intention
Freshwater began with a simple question: if our products celebrate water and the outdoors, how can we be more thoughtful about how they are made?
Our print-on-demand model means products are made when they are ordered rather than produced in large quantities and stored as excess inventory. We also look for lower-impact materials and production options where they make sense.
It’s an area we’ll continue working on as the brand grows.
Come Along
Live the Fresh Life is still evolving.
We’re starting with the places we know, the trips we’ve taken, and the experiences we genuinely enjoy. The first chapter began on freshwater. The next one may be a little farther offshore.
See you on the water.
